    Art. 1

    Introduction & scope

    Gladio Games ("we", "us", "our") develops and publishes casual mobile games, including Anagrams+ and other titles distributed on Google Play and the App Store. This Privacy Policy is a single, shared document covering every Gladio Games title, so that installing any of our games or opening any of our apps is governed by the same rules.

    By downloading, installing or playing a Gladio Games app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our apps.

    Art. 2

    Who is responsible for your data

    The data controller for the purposes of this policy is:

    Gladio Games
    Contact: info@gladiogames.com

    Where our apps use third-party services described in Article 4 (for example Google or Unity), those providers act as independent data controllers or processors for the data they collect through their own SDKs, under their own privacy policies linked below.

    Art. 3

    Information we collect

    Information you provide directly

    Our games are designed to be played without creating an account. You may voluntarily provide information when you:

    • Contact us by email for support, feedback or a data request;
    • Sign in with a platform account (e.g. Google Play Games) to sync progress, achievements or leaderboards — in which case the platform's own account data applies;
    • Use a device's native share sheet to share your score or progress with other apps — this is handled entirely by your device's operating system, and no content passes through our servers.

    Information collected automatically

    Like most mobile apps, ours automatically collect certain technical information through first- and third-party SDKs each time the app is used:

    • Device & advertising identifiers — advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), device model, operating system version, language and country;
    • Usage data — screens viewed, levels played, session length, in-game events, and interactions with ads, used to understand how our games are played and to improve them;
    • Diagnostic data — crash reports and performance logs, used to fix bugs;
    • Approximate location — derived from your IP address or advertising identifiers, used by ad networks for regional ad targeting and fraud prevention; we do not collect precise GPS location;
    • Purchase data — if you buy an in-app item, the purchase is processed entirely by Google Play or the App Store; we receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, not your payment details (see Article 6).
    Art. 4

    Third-party services we use

    We rely on the following software libraries ("SDKs") to run ads, measure usage, process purchases and provide platform features. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, linked in the table.

    ServicePurposeData typesProvider policy
    Google AdMob Serves in-app ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded) and runs mediation to other ad networks Advertising ID, device data, approximate location, ad interactions policies.google.com/technologies/ads
    Unity Ads mediation Alternative ad network shown through AdMob's mediation waterfall Advertising ID, device data, ad interactions unity.com/legal/…privacy-policy
    Unity Analytics Gameplay analytics — retention, session and level-progression statistics Device identifiers, usage & gameplay events unity.com/legal/…privacy-policy
    Google Play Games Services Optional sign-in for achievements, leaderboards and cloud save Google account ID, in-game achievements policies.google.com/privacy

    Individual titles may enable only a subset of these services, and the specific ad networks reachable through AdMob's mediation can change over time as we add or remove partners to improve ad performance.

    Art. 5

    Advertising & your consent choices

    Our games are supported by advertising. Where required by law (for example for users in the European Economic Area and the UK), a consent screen is shown before any personalised ad is served, powered by Google's User Messaging Platform. You can:

    • Choose non-personalised ads instead of personalised ones from that consent screen;
    • Reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking from your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking);
    • On iOS, decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt to prevent cross-app tracking.
    Note: even with non-personalised ads, some technical data (like your approximate country) is still processed to serve any ad at all and to detect invalid traffic.
    Art. 6

    In-app purchases

    Optional in-app purchases (such as removing ads or unlocking content) are billed entirely through Google Play or the App Store. We never see or store your card number, billing address or other payment details — that information is handled solely by the platform you purchased through, under its own privacy policy.

    Art. 7

    Notifications

    Some games may send local reminder notifications (for example, a daily-challenge reminder) generated and scheduled entirely on your device. These do not require any personal data and are not sent through an external push server unless a specific game states otherwise. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's app settings.

    Art. 8

    Children's privacy

    Our apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed specifically at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@gladiogames.com and we will delete it.

    Art. 9

    Data retention

    We do not operate our own user-data servers: gameplay and identifier data are held by the third-party providers listed in Article 4, under their own retention schedules. Support emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request, and then deleted or anonymised.

    Art. 10

    Data security

    We rely on the security measures built into the platforms and SDKs listed above (Google, Unity, Apple) to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so while we take reasonable steps consistent with industry practice, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    Art. 11

    International data transfers

    Our third-party providers (Google, Unity) operate data centres in multiple countries, including the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, those providers rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

    Art. 12

    Your rights

    If you are in the European Economic Area or UK (GDPR)

    You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Since we hold very little data ourselves, most requests about ad or analytics data should be directed to the relevant provider (Google, Unity) using the links in Article 4; we're happy to help you get there.

    If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA)

    You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Some ad partnerships may be considered a "share" under CPRA for cross-context behavioural advertising — you can opt out via the ad-consent screen described in Article 5.

    Everyone else

    Regardless of where you live, you can email us at any time to ask what we know, request deletion, or ask a question about this policy.

    Art. 13

    Changes to this policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy as our games or the services we use evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
